State Testing

Dear Parents,

As we approach the administration of the California Assessment of Student Performance and Progress (CAASPP), CUSD has created a document to provide opportunities for students and parents to familiarize themselves with these assessments. This step-by-step guide allows students to access the practice and training tests from home. The practice test gives students an opportunity to review grade-level and subject appropriate test questions. The training test gives students an opportunity to familiarize themselves with the computer test environment. Please rest assured that our school and teachers are providing guidance and practice on taking CAASPP-like assessments. These additional resources are made available for you and your child should you choose to use them.


Estimados padres:

Con la cercanía de la Evaluación del Rendimiento y Progreso Estudiantil de California (CAASPP, por sus siglas en inglés), el Distrito Escolar Unificado de Capistrano (CUSD, por sus siglas en inglés) ha creado un documento para que los alumnos y sus padres se familiarisen con este tipo de evaluaciones.  Esta guía expone los pasos que los alumnos deben seguir para acceder a exámenes de práctica y entrenamiento desde el hogar y brinda una oportunidad de repaso sobre preguntas del contenido del nivel de grado.  Este entrenamiento les ofrece a los alumnos la oportunidad de conocer el funcionamiento del examen por computadora.  Siéntanse seguros que nuestras maestras cumplen como guías y apoyo en las prácticas de evaluaciones del tipo CAASPP. Estos recursos adicionales están a su disposición.
